What is SWAT?

SWAT is Elite TOMA Martial Arts Academy’s official demonstration team that performs for major events for the school as well as in the local community and other martial arts events. SWAT provides an opportunity for students to grow in a specialized area of martial arts within the TOMA culture. This program/team has developed into a high performance demonstration team that is highly sought out to perform for large community events, competed in high-level demonstration competitions, and even performed for the Philadelphia 76ers. SWAT members are committed to the team are able to build strong characteristics such as physical fitness, teamwork skills, confidence in front of big groups and adaptability. As a member of SWAT, it is your duty to represent yourself, the Dojang, and martial arts in a positive way.

Elite Group

This special demonstration team is made up of an elite group of the students from Black Belt Club. SWAT members always demonstrate a strong desire and enthusiasm to impart these qualities to the other students. Continued growth and progress is a major goal of SWAT Team. Members will work on improving skills and abilities. By being a member of SWAT, students will learn to become leaders, capable of helping others to reach similar goals. We are the special winning attitude team!
